Hezhang stores the account information, household relationships, budgets and transactions you submit to provide shared bookkeeping, syncing, exports, account recovery and membership services.

What we store

Passwords are stored only as salted derived values. Session, email verification, password reset, invitation and license tokens are stored as hashes. Money is stored in integer cents. Necessary security rate-limit and administrator logs are retained.

Who can see financial records

Members of the same household can view and edit its transactions. Authorized administrators may inspect specific financial records read-only to resolve technical, account or access issues. They cannot edit or delete transactions; every sensitive view is recorded in an immutable audit log.

Expiry, export and retention

After membership expires, data is not hidden or deleted. Access becomes read-only; login, full history and CSV export remain available. You can export from your account page at any time.

Email and third parties

Verification, password recovery and trial reminders are sent through Resend. The site runs on Tencent Cloud and uses its entry network services for HTTPS access.

Language and regional recommendations

We store your personal language preference for the interface, emails, notifications and exports. Cloudflare country information suggests a language on first use. We do not add raw IP storage or additional location services. Travel does not automatically change a confirmed choice.
